Hug-a-Bear - Janet Reeves
For bear maker Janet Reeves of Midland, Michigan, sewing more traditional teddy bear designs began in 1982, and was the result of a newspaper article.
She says she's experimented with different designs during the years and has managed to create a business out of her teddy bear love. Her Hug A Bear creations range in price from $100 to $400, depending on the size, and take four or more hours to create. Reeves says she's done teddy bear shows in 10 countries.
