Linda Murray Collection
Linda’s work is all unique and created with great thought and love. Only
one mold is ever made from any sculpture so that production numbers are severely
limited. With individual hand painted faces and limbs, all of the dolls
are technically and artistically one-of-a-kind although issued in small limited
editions. Every doll will be a unique creation in its own right.
"ShellCloth" has many appealing qualities. ShellCloth is warm to the touch.
It is durable, if treated correctly, and will not easily break. We hope
that you see a Linda Murray doll as transcending the conventional expectation of
cloth and porcelain. Some of the dolls are designed to either stand only
or to sit only but all of the dolls are armatured to allow an infinite variety
of poses. All the dolls have poseable heads and limbs matching in our
unique ShellCloth or Cloth finish both of which require coatings of our various
solutions to achieve that lifelike appearance.
