Romeo and Juliet, is a timeless tale and never more beautifully told than in the ballet named after them. In this new version of the dance, the famous pas de deux is danced by 8-inch bent-knee Wendy, with blue eyes, long taffy tan curls and side-swept bangs, along with her partner, 8-inch bent-knee Jack who has a brunette boy cut and blue eyes. She, Juliet, is dressed in a ballet pink, charmeuse gown, that is split down the center front and back and trimmed with gold picot. A gold embroidered, burgundy inset decorates the pink bodice that’s trimmed with gold picot and a gold mesh sash embellishes her waist. The laced, gathered sleeves of the gown are gold/red jacquard and trimmed at the edge with lace. Beneath the gown is an under dress of sheer pink organza that is trimmed with gold picot. Pink glissenette pantyhose, pink satin ballet slippers and a red velvet ‘Juliet’ cap, trimmed with gold picot and beads, has this Juliet ready to dance with her Romeo. He makes his appearance dressed in an ensemble that combines a full, shirred shirt of off-white linen, a deep red velvet jacket with stripes of pink soutache trim and metallic leggings. Brown velvet shoes with cream and gold laces along with a deep red velvet hat decorated with stars and teal and black feathers completes the romantic look for the male half of this Romeo and Juliet duo.
