Anna Aegerter Collection
In 1998, Anna Aegerter Maurer received an invitation to attend a doll-making seminar, which she found extremely interesting. Anna created her very first doll shortly thereafter, simultaneously finding herself a new hobby and passionate calling. Anna prefers to create her dolls as happy, funny nice and dreamy looking children, seldom creating sad facial expressions. She also loves to create objects in fantasy, such as fairies. She gets her inspiration from pictures, books, particular accessories, life events, a themed inspiration or a daring game. She draws her ideas, outlining them in her favorite corner of her garden behind her home. Over the years, Anne has received numerous awards and medals from the international doll-making community for her wonderful and visually delightful body of work.
