Gene - Calendar Girl, April Showers
April Showers is a faithful re-creation of the ensemble modeled on the March/April page of the 1957 Coca-Cola Calendar. Gene's burgundy dress has raglan sleeves, an embroidered Peter Pan collar with a pink blossom, and a full skirt that breaks mid-calf. Her ivory raincoat is belted with a gather at the waist.
Alternating red and white stipes make Gene's umbrella bright-- and her Gene sized bottle of Coca-Cola is the perfect "Pause That Refreshes". Includes earrings, gloves, hosiery, shoes, doll stand, mini Coca-Cola bottle, a minature version of the 1957 Coca Cola calendar, plus an easel place card of the March/April calendar
