Carmen Manago - Redmon was raised in Indiana where her grandmother and mother taught her how to sew at a very early age. After receiving a Home Economics degree from Ball State University, she taught for several years. She then married and had two children and in 1984 moved to the Atlanta, Georgia area with her family. Looking for a creative outlet, she began making dolls. They quickly became her passion. Carmen states... "My dolls whimsically evoke images of "ladies" of the past. They are not dolls for children but for the "child" in us all. I hope they make you smile!"
