Monkey Description: Monkeys have eyes set at the front of the head, giving them binocular vision and the ability to judge distance & depth. Most monkeys are arboreal (tree-dwelling), feed primarily on leaves, fruits & insects. Majority of monkeys give birth to one baby at a time. The amount of time the young is nursed by the mother varies from 2 weeks - 2 yrs, depending on the species.
