"Willoughby" 2012 Christmas Bear

This handsome fellow named "Willoughby" is the first issue in the new "Christmas Bears" series.
Made entirely of the finest custom-made golden tan mohair plush with skillful airbrush coloration, Willoughby measures 12 inches tall standing. He is fully jointed and features a hand embroidered waxed nose and mouth of dark brown cording, leather-covered black shoe-button eyes, and beige all-felt paw pads with hand embroidered claws.
Around his neck Willoughby wears a deluxe red velvet ribbon imported from Switzerland embellished with "RJW green" felt and tied with an old fashioned brass hawk bell imported from Germany. Willoughby is carefully based on classic Edwardian teddy bear images which feature long limbs, large feet, a pointed nose and back hump. He is by far the most traditional bear design from R. John Wright.

Willoughby will be offered during the 2012 Christmas Season in a limited edition of just 250 pieces worldwide. Each bear will come beautifully boxed with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration. Willoughby is scheduled for November-December delivery.
